Y3 Avebury Trip 2023

The day after the Spring Equinox, Year 3 visited the Avebury Stone Circle and West Kennet Long Barrow with the hope better Spring weather would come soon. We enjoyed the stories of the stone circles and imagined our ancestors visiting the site and learned about how it was built. At the West Kennet Long Barrow we shared the tomb with a visitor who had brought a Tibetan Sound bowl. Listening to the energy from the sound bowl was a unique way to experience the ancient burial site.
