Take One Picture 2026
Back
We are thrilled to announce that The National Gallery have chosen Dolphin's Enrichment Project to be part of their Take One Picture exhibition this summer!
This is such an amazing achievement and the children are extremely excited to be showing their art work in the same gallery as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo!
Each year the National Gallery chooses one of their paintings to inspire primary school children to create cross-curricular projects. This year's painting was Canaletto's 'A Regatta on the Grand Canal.' The children chose to create a 3D version of the painting, making origami gondolas, Venetian houses out of cardboard boxes and using a marbling technique to create the swirling water of the Grand Canal. The children also made Venetian masks which they wore to the Henley Royal Regatta to compare the 18th century race to our modern day event.
The exhibition will be open to the public from June 4th until 31st August this year, so we hope that you will go and have a look at the incredible Take One Picture exhibition at the National Gallery in London this summer.
