Year 3 Waterproofing Dens Science Trip

We have been investigating the properties of materials.  We planned an experiment to see if we could keep our toys dry within a den made at Highwood Nature Reserve. We gathered a range of natural and man-made resources and set about building our dens following the design we had planned in the classroom.  Each team showed amazing teamwork and negotiation skills during our construction phase.
