Mission, Aims and Core Values
Dolphin School's mission is to guide and inspire our children to discover their own unique strengths and talents, by learning through experiencing and doing. We give children the confidence to be individuals who accept others for who they are, and the empathy to understand that their gifts are not theirs alone but are there to be shared with those around them, throughout their lives.
Aims
- Provide a challenging, stimulating and broad curriculum
- Encourage curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of learning
- Nurture and celebrate the individual talents of every child
- Promote academic, artistic, sporting and cultural excellence
- Develop confident, compassionate, independent-thinking and well-balanced young people
- Put learning into context within the real world, via an extensive trip programme
Core Values
- Freedom to learn in my own way
- Confidence to be myself
- Challenge to excel in what I do
- Discovery by doing
- Kindness above all
These values are promoted, developed and celebrated in our Dolphin Project Qualification Programme, a bespoke series of cross-curricular projects that runs from Years 3-8.
