Y3 Avebury Trip 2022

Year 3 finally managed to get to Avebury after a much-delayed trip. On a sunny, quiet, Monday morning we had Britain's biggest neolithic stone circle almost to ourselves. Pupils were able to suggest lots of interesting theories as to it's construction and function and also enjoyed investigating the chambers of the West Kennet long barrow in the afternoon.
