Y7 South Downs Sustainability Centre

Our Y7 trip to the South Downs Sustainability Centre was an educational experience highlighting the importance of energy in our daily lives. We learned about renewable energy sources on site, and the importance of reduce, reuse, recycle.

Activities included cycling to generate energy, building circuits with solar cells, and measuring wind speed for potential turbines. Despite some rain, the trip provided practical insights into sustainable energy practices and inspired us to be more mindful of our environmental impact.
