Y2 Castles and Knights

Y2 spent a fun-filled day learning about Castles and Knights!

The day began with the children designing a personal coat of arms for their shields, and then they had a go at jousting, cheered on by their excited spectators.

Our boys and girls then enjoyed an informative workshop by the Windsor Castle Outreach Team, learning about castles and how to become a medieval knight. The children dressed up in costumes and armour and even had the opportunity to handle some of the weapons.
