Young Voices - Birmingham
Back
Excitement was in the air as more than 60 Dolphin pupils from Years 4 to 8 set off for Birmingham to take part in Young Voices – a musical experience they will never forget! Singing alongside nearly 6,000 other children, they became part of an enormous choir that filled the arena with sheer joy. ‘I’m really looking forward to singing at the top of my lungs alongside my friends!’, said Jesse in Year 6 as we arrived at the venue.
A live professional band and dazzling light show gave the concert the feel of a Taylor-Swift-scale tour! The pupils also had the incredible opportunity to perform with special guests, including MC Grammar, Strictly Come Dancing’s Tommy Blaize, and 14-year singing sensation Souparnika Nair, making the day even more memorable.
For the children, it was a thrilling chance to sing their hearts out on a huge stage. For parents in the audience, it was a concert like no other. And even the teachers had a chance to move and groove together during the ‘90’s Rave section!
