Hurst Village Walk 2023

Hurst Village Walk 

Year One went for a walk around Hurst Village to bring the Houses and Home topic to life.  In small groups we had a challenge to spot different types of homes. 

We discovered that the front gardens in the village are very different; some have pebbled drives and others have lots of grass. It was interesting to spot how many gardens have picket fences whilst others have walled gardens. We learnt about the difference between a garage and a carport. The perfect weather allowed us to have a play on the field and playground. We all agreed that Hurst Village is a lovely place to live.
