Y3 Earth Trust Trip

Y3 had a fantastic time at the Earth Trust. They learnt about invaders and settlers in Britain and the importance of our local area in these times.

After climbing to the top of a round hill and looking at the change in the landscape, they listened to dramatic stories from Anglo-Saxon history. 

Back at the Earth Trust Centre they learned more about  Anglo-Saxon everyday life; by creating a wattle fence, spinning wool and using a quern stone to grind wheat into flour.
