Our Y3’s headed to Kew Gardens to bring our plants topic to life.

They began their trip enjoying an immersive and interactive lesson led by two of the onsite plant experts. After lunch, they visited the Princess of Wales Conservatory exploring the truly amazing plants.

With its ten computer-controlled climate zones, its glassy labyrinth lead us through a series of fascinating ecosystems.

Later in the day, they travelled to the depths of the rainforest inside the Palm House, where the air was heavy and dense with lush vegetation.

A wonderful day out was concluded with a stop at the Marianne North Gallery, where more than 800 remarkable paintings covered the walls - it was hard to choose their favourite!
