Y6&7 Kempton Park Racecourse

Our Year 6 and 7s embarked on an engaging educational trip to Kempton Park Racecourse, bringing classroom learning to life in a fun, real-world setting.

The day offered hands-on experiences, practical maths applications, and insights into the world of horse racing.  Activities included mental maths challenges, such as using percentages to calculate horse weights, and discussions on gender equality in racing, sparking meaningful conversations about inclusivity and fairness in sports.

This trip was a memorable fusion of education, discovery, and excitement, giving students a fantastic opportunity to see how maths and responsibility play out in the context of real-life racing.
