Reception Class Cliveden Trip

We went for an Autumn walk and looked for all the different signs we could see; shiny conkers, falling leaves, red berries etc. Along the way we stopped for snack and sang some Autumn songs.

Later in the morning, the children got themselves into teams of four. They worked together to build a big pile of leaves. After a countdown, they threw the leaves up into the air and enjoyed dancing in the leaf storm created.

We walked some more and then lunchtime was the final event. The children settled down onto picnic benches and started munching. Not long into our lunch, the weather changed. The children were brave, they put their hoods up and had their first picnic in the rain – what an adventure!
