Library Blog - Telling tales for Story Week

Dolphin School has been telling tales all week…. With Emma kicking off the first session with the wonderfully titled ‘Story of Frog Belly Rat Bone’! High-lights during the week were Judy’s animated Pooh Bear excerpt and Mr de Souza’s rendition of Roald Dahl’s ‘Revolting Rhymes’..   Friday morning saw the industrious Years 1, 2 and 3 designing individual story-telling cubes then, working in their buddy groups, creating their own stories to present to the Lower School audience.  Enormous thanks to all those involved especially Emma Tate for overall organisation and wonderful story telling.   A fun week for all involved. 

Emma ‘s Three Rules of Story Telling:

Rule 1 : Have Fun and include everyone.

Rule 2 : If you’ve forgotten part of your story, make it up….& use your imagination

Rule 3 : There are no rules except, have fun making stories.
