Charity Assembly 2022

We were delighted to be able to welcome Becky from The Cowshed and Nimi from Building for the Future to our assembly this morning to present them with the fruits of our fundraising efforts this year.  Our Charity fair, Mothers’ Day Mystery Gifts and Fathers’ Day Fun Sweet Cones raised over £800, all of the money coming from the children’s efforts.  This is on top of our 60 stationery/craft bags that we sent via Care4calais to afghan refugee families, the 80 shoe boxes that were filled for Ukrainian children and the hundreds of pounds worth of toys that were donated for The Cowshed’s Christmas Appeal. We are very proud of the way that the children have put into action the school’s core value of ‘Kindness’ and our dolphin habit of ‘listening with empathy’.
